Naija founder of the comedy property Night of a Thousand Laughs Opa Williams is in Kenya for 'business'. Opa refuted claims that he is taking a bow from the comedy business as alluded by online reports instead he has just rebranded the theme night. 'Those are just non-factual stories created by bloggers. I just rebranded my show to A Thousand Laughs Extra. As a matter of fact there will be another show in Kenya on March 30 and 31,' Opa told Word Is.
Last year saw the comedy festival termed as one of the biggest in Africa host some of the best comedians in the continent. Sponsored by Kiss TV the show was held at the Bomas of Kenya with comedians like Radio Jambo's Eric Omondi, South Africa's Tshepo Mogale, Uganda's Pablo Yagayo and Nigeria's Klint the Drunk and Gordon putting up a show.
