 Business in a The following are new Nairobi City Council traffic offences and fines:
Pedestrian crossing the roads in Nairobi when traffic light is red: Kshs 10,000/-
Motorist moving on when the traffic light is red: Kshs 10,000/-
Pedestrian crossing the road while talking on their mobile phones: Kshs. 500/-
Boarding/Alighting at non-designated matatu stops: Ksh 10,000/-
Unfastened seat belt: Ksh 500/-
Worn out tyres: Ksh 10,000/-
Double parking: Ksh 20,000/-

    Please take note! You don't want to get into trouble with the Nairobi City Council askaris, do you?
